Planning is on track for the IPHA Annual Conference and Dinner as delegates register ahead of the November 1 deadline for an event that promises to engage a range of perspectives about the future of Ireland’s bio-economy.
The conference, ‘Patient Care, Powered by Innovation’, takes place in the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Golden Lane, Dublin 8, on November. Delegates are asked to arrive at at 8am for registration. The drinks reception and dinner later that day begins at 7pm. The Minister for Health, Simon Harris, will speak.
This year, our 25th, the format is new, with a focus on debate and engagement, and a fresh style and presentation that reflects the dynamism of our industry. We expect lively sessions and engagement with some of the themes that shape our industry: access, innovation and partnerships. The event is a platform for us to develop meaningful new alliances, as well as to look outwards and engage with the latest thinking in discovering, developing and adopting innovative treatments.
The event is an effort to place our industry at the heart of healthcare, with a focus on improving patient outcomes through innovative medicines. This is part of our efforts to consider the human impact of our work. It is part of our pledge to patients to help improve standards of healthcare in Ireland.
We look forward to hearing new voices from home and abroad, including from the US and the UK, as well as representatives from patient groups, the clinical community, policymaking, industry and academia. They will share their insights about the future orientation of healthcare in Ireland, set in both a local and a global context.
